The Lord has definitely been "mixing and baking" in our lives the past few months. You might say we've been through the fire with Michael taking an early retirement, moving the family across the state , Brett changing jobs from a small town to a bustling metropolis, and Mikaela completing high school (last May).
We are getting settled into our new lives here in Pooler, GA [Savannah]. And we're loving it.. It's great to be near our son, Daniel and his family for a change. Getting to see them every week instead every 6 months is a blessing! Though we did have to leave Brian behind in southwest Georgia. :(
Brett has taken on the position of webmaster and helps with the sound system for Harvest Church of the Nazarene. Mikaela has joined the praise team at Harvest . She really enjoys worshipping the Lord with her guitar.
Mandy was excited to find out that the new music director and his wife were actually at Asbury University with her some 30 year ago. She made a connection with them right away. Eric and Amber has two adult children the same age as Brett and Mikaela who moved to Savannah also. This has helped all of them find their way in a new place!
Michael and Mandy are enjoying just being part of the congregation for a change, though Mandy does fill in at the piano occasionally. We also enjoy worshipping at the Bloomingdale church. We have found "old" friends in both churches from way back when we pastored in Savannah in the 90's.
We literally live at the I-16 and I-95 interchange, so if you are coming through Savannah, stop and have lunch with us. Or maybe you would enjoy shopping at Tanger Mall. We live just a couple miles down the road!
