The Farmer's are Retiring!

LOOK AND BE AMAZED
For I am doing something
in your own day,
something you wouldn't believe
even if someone told you about it.”
Habakkuk 1:5

It's Time to Retire

After 40 years of ministry in 10 churches,
and nearly 13 years serving  at Moultrie First Church of the Nazarene,
we are taking an early retirement from pastoral ministry.

This decision, in timing and manner, was not of our making;
however, with Mandy’s chronic illness we realize
that the time is right and that God has a new work for us to do.

We truly love and care for the people at Moultrie First
and regret that the opportunity to say a proper goodbye
was not provided to our family.

Retirement Plans

We are moving to Metro-Savannah,
where we will finally be near family and
Mandy will be closer to her doctors  at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL.

Brett was hired, literally on the spot, at the Pooler Chick Fil A.
This is a testament to his outstanding work ethic and job record.

We are uncertain at this time what Michael will be doing
but he will certainly be available for pulpit supply.

  4. Mandy & Michael,

I know this decision has been one of the most difficult of your ministry. I DO believe God will replace what the enemy has stolen. You have been facing and battling the enemy for some time--with Mandy's illness and all. My heart has been aching for and with all of you. I'm hoping and praying that with this move you will all find the peace and healing you deserve.
